Multicolor beaded necklace, handmade from upcycled materials. All materials were used in the process, beads were created out of the leftovers so that nothing would go to waste.
With a flair for color combinations and hybrid forms, the unique pieces in this Exclusive Vault Tétier Bijoux collection are inspired by the joyful and positive feelings of Gucci. The designer created her own Tétier rainbow by incorporating orange, purple, red, tortoise, and green shades, and set out to evoke a feeling from the ’70s of putting a big flower in your hair. Both simultaneously jewelry and art piece, each of these one-off creations makes for a bold, and audacious statement.
Paris-based artist, designer, art director, stylist, and co-founder of Novembre magazine, Florence Tétier, launched her eponymous Tétier Bijous jewelry label in 2018. Since then her bold and irreverent up-cycled bijouterie has garnered accolades throughout the fashion world. Staying true to her mantra ‘Nothing dies. Everything is transformed’, she recycles, plastics, discarded toys, and found objects to create extraordinary floral and crustacean-like sculptural forms, melting technicolor, neon, acid, and transparent colors together into organic, almost living jewelry.
