Stockholm- based Rave Review was founded by duo Josephine Bergqvist and Livia Schück and debuted its first collection at Paris fashion week in 2018. Stanch advocates of climate positive fashion, with upcycling and sustainability central to it’s ethos, they work by reviving and reassembling vintage home textiles, such as blankets and bed linen, to create unique limited edition, intricately constructed designs that have a rich and joyous escapism that manifests as a progressive and unapologetic expression of femininity.
With new silhouettes and combinations of materials, Rave Review redefines their female archetype through different rave, punk and sport interpretations. Exploring separates this season allows for styling and customization with baggy pants paired with tight tops to create a different, sexier edge. A new reality of cool kitsch sees exaggerated shapes, wide legs, overlong sleeves, striped shirting, patchworks, tartan and overprinted text affirmations, which all combine to make a maximalist, up-cycled feminine statement of energy and positivity.
