Braid raincoat

The new collection by Ahluwalia draws on documentary photography of detailed Nigerian braiding, ‘90s music videos, and vintage hair salon posters as it celebrates Afro-Caribbean hair artistry, symbolism and rituals. Such inspiration is reflected in the intricate braid print featured atop this raincoat, made from recycled polyester. A drawstring hood, elasticated trim and multifunctional pockets define the coat's functional properties.
