There is an embroidered label with the 'Gucci' label. This coat was selected by the Creative Director and Vault archivists for its particularity, character and exceptional vintage condition, and it was reconditioned to the highest standard by in-house artisans. It has been given the number 199 | 22 and will arrive in tailor-made packaging. This rare and beautiful piece should be handled with exceptional care.
Created under the Creative Direction of Tom Ford for his Fall Winter 2000-2001 collection, this coat is crafted from black cashmere with leather inserts and a belt with a tiger head buckle. The runway collection encompassed a range of mostly black styles that was at the time thought of as the essential Gucci uniform, this coat reflected the feel of the show with leather inserts resulting in an understated power statement.
