The Story

Gifts, including silver items, were sold in the first Gucci store in the 1920s, and the art of silver design continued throughout the years as this decorative piece was created in the late 1960s.

The intricate design and engraved detailing speak to the craftsmanship that encompasses every Gucci product—transcending the utilitarian design to a true piece of art.

As soon as you hold a piece of the Vault, you begin to write a new chapter of its story—instituting a relationship, rather than ownership, that will forever connect one owner to the next. As the years accumulate, every mark or crease is collected onto the surface, continuously altering the item’s appearance and making it unique. Imperfections should be expected and treasured as the journey continues for this piece.
